Two Men Contemplating the Moon



Caspar David Friedrich
 (1774 Greifswald - 1840 Dresden) The most important painter of German Romanticism.

The most famous one is "Man and Woman Contemplating the Moon" (around 1824) that is in West Berlin National Gallery.
This work has been described as old master painting .
